Canton's own Joe McKay put up his balloon on Union Street outside the hotel. Good music, good food and good company for all.

Saturday Night
The Balloon Fest at Canton Multi Purpose Building started with music by The Fabulous Earth Angels.
The Balloon pilots attempted to fly in to the field and grab the "key" off a flag pole. Pilot Alan Howland of Zachary, LA was right on target!

The Balloons then set up for a balloon glow and the public was invited to get close up and personal with the balloons on the field.
Festival food and a children's area made this a perfect family event.
A spectacular fireworks display ended the night.

Sunday Morning
The Sunday competition was a hound and hare chase. Bob McGuire led the field in a chase over the city of Canton.
